Peter Edgar grew up in Managua, Nicaragua, as the son of missionaries sent by Heritage, Bruce and Laura Edgar. During the summers, he served at Camp Gilead, discipling young people as junior-, senior-, and head-counselor. He became a member at HBC as an undergraduate student at Florida Southern College, continued through Masters’ programs at the University of Alabama, and now splits his time between the University of Central Florida, where he’s getting a Ph.D. in Texts & Technology, and Lakeland. A product of HBC’s past iterations of the college group, he began serving as a leader of Young Adults Ministry in 2024.
