The joy of belonging...
Because God ordained local churches to be the physical representation of God’s people here on earth, we take the process of church membership seriously. We believe God’s people gather together under his supreme rule, and therefore, we come together not as members of a club but citizens of a kingdom. Our covenant membership process is the place to hear what we believe about God, see what He is doing here at Heritage, understand how to get involved in ministry opportunities, share your own story, and ask any questions. To see when the next Membership Class is available, please check the Calendar Page and contact the church office at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Baptism is an ordinance given by our Lord Jesus Christ to be administered in the context of the local church. We baptize by immersion because it is not only the original significance of the word but also best symbolizes the reality to which baptism points—our death and resurrection in Christ. Baptism is intended only for those who have professed faith in Jesus Christ and can give testimony to the basics of Christian belief. Because baptism is so closely connected with church membership in the New Testament, we hold that all members of Heritage be baptized believers. If you have not been baptized following salvation, we would be happy to talk with you.
